Pilanesberg National Park

The Pilanesberg National Park is located in North West Province in South Africa, west of Pretoria. The park borders with the entertainment complex Sun City. Pilanesberg Game Reserve is home to the Big 5 and offers a variety of affordable accommodation, from self-catering to luxury 5 Star Lodges.

Self Drive Safaris | Pilanesberg Game Reserve

Self-driving through the Park is to me the "only way" to go.....it's an experience which you will treasure forever. All cars can be hired at O. R. Tambo International Airport (formerly known as Johannesburg International Airport. Avis being the biggest rental company. The journey to Sun city takes approx 2hours and is very easy and well sign posted. We had no problems along the way.
